Last Chapter ride out of the year

Last Tango in Yorkshire saw 35 of us ride out to to the NY500 cafe in Yorkshire.

Sun was shining all day, route was fantastic and again well marshalled by our roadcrew.

Setting of from Durham services we headed across country towards the coast and down towards Whitby where we cut back inland towards Pickering and on to the NY500 for bacon butties and coffee.

After an hour or so we left the cafe and headed up towards Helmsley and followed the TT route northwards towards our final destination at Wolviston.

Great day had by all. We are all looking forward to the next riding season already.

Brilliant time at the Geordie Chapter Yorkshire Weekender

We all had a fantastic time staying at Squires cafe bar campsite.

Leaving on Friday morning we first headed to Masham where we stopped for a brew and ice cream as it was so hot, great place for a stop. We then headed to Leeds Harley Davidson where the guys had laid on some snacks for us while we browsed the store. From there we headed over to Squires Cafe Bar where we checked in, pitched our tents and set up our chairs. All sat round in the sun having a good laugh with many drinks and snacks. Shout out to Kay Dobson, Laura Stewart and Jo Garrigan who drove down and carried the much needed supplies!

On Saturday we had another ride out, this time we headed to Flamborough head, with 2 stops along the way. Sun was shining all day we were on the bikes. Some great roads and great views from Flamborough head. We then headed back with a couple more stops on the way, passed through the lovely village of Wetwang! A nice relaxed day.

Saturday evening proved a little chillier with a spot of rain that saw everyone abandon chairs and dive into the tents, which was comical. Only lasted 15 minutes and we were back out again to grab some more beers.

Sunday saw us all pack up and ride a great route back home.

All in all a fantastic weekend, which I hope we can have more of.

Many thanks to Waldo on leading the way all weekend. Planned some great routes for us all to enjoy.
