We hold our monthly Chapter meetings at:
Nissan Sports and Leisure Complex
This is within the main Nissan facility. The postcode works well in Google Earth but if you need coordinates for your sat nav, use these: 54.920290, -1.477752. They will get you into the car park, then a short walk to the front door. If you’re coming in from the A19 and the A1290, stay on the left at the first set of lights, then take the third arm off the small roundabout. It’s signposted from there.
Our Chapter meetings are generally on the first Thursday of the month. We start at 7.30pm and people usually get there from about 7.00pm.
If you are a Harley-Davidson rider and want to come along to one of our meetings to find out more about Geordie Chapter prior to joining, please get in touch. That way, we can make sure someone is available to say hello when you arrive and introduce you to some people. If you want to dive straight in, just turn up and say hi!
Our Director usually has a few words to say about what we’ve done and what we’re going to do. Additionally, our Committee usually update everyone on what’s going on in their bit of Geordie Chapter. It’s so important that everyone knows what’s doing on: we do our best to make sure that everyone knows what’s happening.
There’s usually updates about what’s happening in other Chapters – especially if rallies are on that we’re travelling to. It’s always better to ride in together if we can! Our Ladies of Harley Officers get a raffle underway with some lovely prizes. Most importantly, it’s about catching up and having a good time.
We have an AGM in December when we reflect on the year’s events. We have all sorts of awards, including for mileage, Member of the Year and a Director’s award.
Here’s some pics from our AGM in 2021!
2022 is the twenty-fifth anniversary of Geordie Chapter and we have three members who have been with us from the very beginning – back when Just Harleys was based up in Morpeth.
Our Director presented them with awards from Geordie Chapter – H.O.G. also celebrated their fantastic achievement!
