ABC Ride – 2023

This is the Geordie Chapters only “Open” ride, so you don’t have to own a Harley and you don’t need to be a member of the Geordie Chapter,
Like last year there will be a member of the Road Crew leaving both the Dealership and Macdonalds at Westerhope at 09:20 to arrive at Albamarle Barracks at 09:40
Others can meet at Albamarle from 09:00 where bacon sarnies with tea and coffee will (like last year) be available for a nominal fee.
The ride is approximately 95 miles long from Albemarle barracks to the end point at Tynemouth Volunteer Life Brigade House so small tanks need to fill up at the garage at Heddon and then at Alnwick (see a Road Crew member for help with this if you need it).
As this is a Charity event there will be a voluntary £5 contribution from riders, and if pillions want to pay then fine but as I said it’s a voluntary payment!
We will leave Albemarle Barracks at 11:00 following a compulsory briefing

Memorial Ride 2023

We had a fantastic turnout for this years Memorial ride, around 80 bikes took part. It’s a day for us all to get together and remember those members who we have sadly lost.

Alan Wright led this years ride in remembrance of his late wife Christine and we raised substantial funds for the North East Air Ambulance.

An excellent day, weather was great and the route was fantastic.

On return to the dealership we had reading by Cross Rob and the listing of the names of members passed. This was followed by a minutes noisy revving of all the bikes!

Julie Howell said – Great to have been a part of a very special day…very moving and quite emotional at times….been a while but well worth a visit to see so many people give their time to remember others ❤️‍🩹

Jonnie Smith says of the day – Fantastic ride out today made better with it being my birthday even if I didn’t get the bumps or any cake but well done to all concerned with organising it for a fantastic cause 🙌

Hi there, not sure if this is the right page, but I followed a lot of Geordie Chapter guys today from Blanchland to just past Shotley Bridge and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Just wanted to commend you all.
Nice to have members of the public noting how well we act when out as a group. Well done all.

 

 

 

Distinguished Geordie Ride

It’s that time of year again so pull out your best tweed and saddle up for this years distinguished Geordie chapter ride. The ride will be setting off from the dealership at 10:30am with the briefing at 10:15 for an hours ride ending up at The Ship, Gateshead NE9 7YP

Newbie ride

A ride out for new members or those who wish to increase knowledge of riding in a pack.

Times and destination etc to be finalised.
