Our destination is Scarborough and the Ride Leader is Pete Hill. \nThe ride will leave from Wolviston Services\, A19 (TS22 5PZ) at 10.30 am prompt. Please arrive with full tanks in good time for the ride briefing at 10.10 am. \nPlease note: H.O.G. rules state that anyone not attending the briefing should not attend the ride \nSummary: Wolviston to Helmsley — down the famous Helmsley TT Road — then over to Scarborough. We should land in Scarborough about 12.45 pm. We will stop for fuel — unleaded for the V-Twins with fish and chips for you — for about 75 minutes. We will then follow the moors back to Whitby then the ride will finish at The Gables pub\, Hemlington. Easy reach to the A174 and the A19 for your ride home. \nThis is a marshalled ride\, led by our Road Crew. There will be a rider briefing at the beginning of the ride. Please take note of all guidance from the Road Crew before we set off and don’t put your helmets on until after the briefing. If any guests join us on our ride-out\, you MUST sign our Chapter Event Release Form before we set off. \n  \nSee y’all there!

You can arrive at Albemarle from 8.45 am: we have bacon rolls\, tea or coffee available (for a nominal fee). \nYou WILL need photo ID to gain entry to Albemarle Barracks and RAF Boulmer. \nBriefing at 10.30\, leaving Albemarle at 10.45 am. Taking in Alnwick (including lunch break)\, RAF Boulmer and then on to the coastguard station at Tynemouth. We should arrive there about 3.45 pm. \nThis charity event is an open event\, available to all makes of bikes. \nThere will be a £5.00 voluntary contribution to charity. \nThe nearest petrol station to Albemarle is Heddon on the Wall. You can fill up at Alnwick too\, during our stop there. Ride length: 105 miles. \nA member of the Road Crew will be leaving Gateshead Harley-Davidson at 9.15 am heading for Albemarle.

Meet at Gateshead Harley-Davidson (opening up especially for us) for a briefing at 10.15 am and off at 10.30 am. We will meander our way to the Devonport Hotel (DL2 1AS) arriving about 12.30 pm. They will be putting on a BBQ for us — it is a very pleasant spot to while away an afternoon with friends! If you would like Sunday dinner\, please call the hotel directly (01325 332255) to confirm. \nThere’s a minimum donation of £5 per person for this ride — and you will be entered into a prize draw. The hotel has very kindly donated a night of dinner and B/B! Let’s make this a great event for a very deserving cause that has helped so many in their and their families’ time of need. Total ride mileage 90 miles. There is a small café at Ingram Valley\, but this is a fab place for a picnic so fetch your own bait if you want to. \n  \nSee y’all there!

DESCRIPTION:After a long delay in getting details\, the event is going ahead. Those people who have bookings rolled over from the last two years have a place\, based on Dinner Bed and Breakfast.  \nUnfortunately\, the Gretna Hall Hotel has no more capacity for any further bookings: the top floor is under redevelopment and will not be ready in time.  \nHowever\, the CRAGG team suggest that if you want to attend the weekend\, please book another hotel nearby and arrange your own evening meals – although the Gretna Hall Hotel does do bar meals – then come over to the hotel for the evening of fun and frolics. We have a DJ booked for the Saturday evening! \nHere’s a few answers to questions that have been put out recently: \n•	At this moment\, the hotel is only catering the meal for residents\, however bar meals are available\n•	On various booking websites\, the Gretna Hall Hotel shows rooms available but apparently\, they are not\n•	Please check out Booking.com for details of nearby hotels: some have reasonable rates and are quite close but get in quick\n•	If anything changes re: the room situation or the evening meal situation\, we will add updates\, on our closed Facebook group of by email  \nApologies for the lateness of the update but there have been considerable negotiations ongoing with Clyde Valley Chapter and the Hotel. \nHope to see you all there! \n
