You can arrive at Albemarle from 9.15 am: we have bacon rolls\, tea or coffee available (for a nominal fee). We have to pre-order these items so\, if you want them\, please email John Nichol john.nichol5@btinternet.com with your order. \nYou WILL need photo ID to gain entry to Albemarle Barracks and RAF Boulmer. Briefing at 10.45\, leaving Albemarle at 11.00 am. \nTaking in Alnwick (including lunch break)\, RAF Boulmer and then on to the coastguard station at Tynemouth. We should arrive there about 3.45 pm. \nThis charity event is an open event\, available to all makes of bikes. \nThere will be a £5.00 voluntary contribution to charity and we have ABC Ride t-shirts available – please email Pete Hill for details merchandise-officer@geordiehog.com.   \nThere will be a petrol stop near Amble for those that require it. The nearest petrol station to Albemarle is Heddon on the Wall … Albemarle to Amble is 75 miles\, and Amble to Tynemouth is 30 miles. \nA member of the Road Crew will be leaving Gateshead Harley-Davidson at 9.15 am heading for Albemarle and Steve Little will be leaving Westerhope McDonalds at 9.15 am if anyone would like to follow him up to Albemarle.

DESCRIPTION:Geordie Chapter Salt Marsh Weekend \nCome and join us on a two-night stay over and a Saturday ride-out in the far South West of Scotland: there are plenty of interesting ways to get there and back. \nThe hotel is the Holiday Inn\, Dumfries with prices as follows: twin or double room: £80 per room per night\, breakfast included (£70 single occupancy). Evening dinner: £22 per person per night. \nTo book\, call 01387 272410 (8:30 am-6.00 pm M-F)\, choose option 3 and when booking please quote HARL100291. Card details will be taken as deposit. You can cancel for free up to 30 days prior to arrival\, if required. The hotel is currently holding 15 rooms. Keep an eye on our closed Facebook pages for more details. \nOur Director\, Barry Gillespie\, has the details of the meeting\, as follows: \nAs a result of other commitments\, September’s Chapter meeting will be on WEDNESDAY\, 8 September. I’m aware this will interfere with the Wednesday night ride-out\, but unfortunately it can’t be helped. We will resume the regular slot of the first Thursday of the month from October. This will be our first meeting back at Nissan SLC for ages. To celebrate\, we’ve laid on Pie and Peas for everyone! DESCRIPTION:The Great Relay 2021 Unity Ride \nGeordie Chapter cordially invites you to join this special event of unity. The full details follow but commit to as much or as little as you can. Our leg of the relay ride begins on Friday 13 August when we meet Aire Valley Chapter at Washington Services northbound (time to be arranged). We will then stop at the Angel of the North for a photo. We will head to Gateshead Harley-Davidson for a celebration of the official handover of the baton to the Geordie Chapter. \nOn Saturday 14 August\, we leave Gateshead Harley-Davidson (at 9.30 am) to continue the relay ride up to Edinburgh Harley-Davidson. Here\, we will handover the baton to Dunedin Chapter. We will join Dunedin Chapter on their leg to West Coast Harley-Davidson and meet up with Clyde Valley Chapter. Staying overnight\, we will then join the ride with Clyde Valley Chapter to Cairnryan. Here\, the Pan America bikes and baton will leave for Ireland. We’ll then return home. \nOur overnight stay on 14 August is at the Premier Inn Glasgow Braehead. If you would like to stay\, please make your own reservations.
