DESCRIPTION:After a long delay in getting details\, the event is going ahead. Those people who have bookings rolled over from the last two years have a place\, based on Dinner Bed and Breakfast.  \nUnfortunately\, the Gretna Hall Hotel has no more capacity for any further bookings: the top floor is under redevelopment and will not be ready in time.  \nHowever\, the CRAGG team suggest that if you want to attend the weekend\, please book another hotel nearby and arrange your own evening meals – although the Gretna Hall Hotel does do bar meals – then come over to the hotel for the evening of fun and frolics. We have a DJ booked for the Saturday evening! \nHere’s a few answers to questions that have been put out recently: \n•	At this moment\, the hotel is only catering the meal for residents\, however bar meals are available\n•	On various booking websites\, the Gretna Hall Hotel shows rooms available but apparently\, they are not\n•	Please check out Booking.com for details of nearby hotels: some have reasonable rates and are quite close but get in quick\n•	If anything changes re: the room situation or the evening meal situation\, we will add updates\, on our closed Facebook group of by email  \nApologies for the lateness of the update but there have been considerable negotiations ongoing with Clyde Valley Chapter and the Hotel. \nHope to see you all there! \n

DESCRIPTION:Geordie Chapter Salt Marsh Weekend \nCome and join us on a two-night stay over and a Saturday ride-out in the far South West of Scotland: there are plenty of interesting ways to get there and back. \nThe hotel is the Holiday Inn\, Dumfries with prices as follows: twin or double room: £80 per room per night\, breakfast included (£70 single occupancy). Evening dinner: £22 per person per night. \nTo book\, call 01387 272410 (8:30 am-6.00 pm M-F)\, choose option 3 and when booking please quote HARL100291. Card details will be taken as deposit. You can cancel for free up to 30 days prior to arrival\, if required. The hotel is currently holding 15 rooms. DESCRIPTION:The Great Relay 2021 Unity Ride \nGeordie Chapter cordially invites you to join this special event of unity. The full details follow but commit to as much or as little as you can. Our leg of the relay ride begins on Friday 13 August when we meet Aire Valley Chapter at Washington Services northbound (time to be arranged). We will then stop at the Angel of the North for a photo. We will head to Gateshead Harley-Davidson for a celebration of the official handover of the baton to the Geordie Chapter. \nOn Saturday 14 August\, we leave Gateshead Harley-Davidson (at 9.30 am) to continue the relay ride up to Edinburgh Harley-Davidson. Here\, we will handover the baton to Dunedin Chapter. We will join Dunedin Chapter on their leg to West Coast Harley-Davidson and meet up with Clyde Valley Chapter. Staying overnight\, we will then join the ride with Clyde Valley Chapter to Cairnryan. Here\, the Pan America bikes and baton will leave for Ireland. We’ll then return home. \nOur overnight stay on 14 August is at the Premier Inn Glasgow Braehead. If you would like to stay\, please make your own reservations.

DESCRIPTION:Geordie Chapter Gone West Tour and Camp \nCome and join us on a two-day tour and camping stopover in the village of Dent: you can make your own way there and back if you want to or follow Simon on either or both days. \nWe will be camping at High Laning campsite in Dent where food and drink is available in the village. The campsite will do breakfast sarnies if ordered when we arrive: as food and drink is taken care off\, we can all travel light. \nPlease contact High Laning campsite to book your pitch: £12 for a small tent with a bike and maximum of two people. DESCRIPTION:Monthly Chapter ride. \nThis is our first official Chapter ride-out of 2021. The ride is led and marshalled by the Geordie Chapter Road Crew. Our destination is Hawick. (TD9 9LF) \nThe ride will leave from Seaton Burn Services (NE13 6BP) at 10.30 am prompt. Please arrive in plenty of time to refuel\, go to the toilet and have a coffee before the ride briefing at 10.10 am. \nPlease note: H.O.G. rules state that anyone not attending the briefing should not attend the ride. \nSummary: Seaton Burn to Hawick 64 miles. Hawick to Heddon 66 miles. Total ride mileage is 130 miles. \nThe Road Crew has done several reccies for this ride: there is some fantastic scenery and some great riding roads. \nPlease check our Facebook page for more details closer to each event.
