Chapter Santa Ride, December 2019

The annual Santa run took place on Saturday 7 December. The day was cold but clear and the rain held off nicely.

23 bikes took part, all dressed as Santa with bikes decorated very nicely. The ride route went from the dealership, over the Tyne bridge, through the centre of Newcastle past Central Station, up St James Boulevard. A right turn past the Irish centre and up toward Haymarket then back down to the Quayside, across the Swing Bridge and back to the dealership. The ride was well received by the public who were waving, taking pictures and videos.

On return to the dealership, we had a choir of local school children. It was a very good show with Chapter members getting involved in the singing.

Afterwards, Safe Families for Children collected gifts and food that had been donated by Chapter members and the dealership. Along with St John’s Ambulance who collected gifts to be given to children at Christmas.
